I also received a poorly spelled and apparent scam email about my automatic renewal of McAfee. The scammer said my account was being charged $299.99. I needed to call the 855-221-5800 to have the charges removed. After calling, the foreign representative was insistent on getting me to access my account information, so he could remove the automatic renewal

I received a badly spelled email telling me that my McAfee subscription (which I do not have) had just been auto-renewed for around $300.00, as per my agreement with them. The phone number that was given for cancelling was 855-221-5800. As the entire email looked suspicious, I decided to Google that phone number and was sent here.... No, I wasn't about to call them, either...
